My style is a combination of documentary and editorial. It is stylized, intentionally composed but always true to the moment. I spend most of the wedding day capturing events as they naturally unfold. This results in images that are playful, energetic, full of emotion and sincerity. There are some instances when I will offer my couples some guidance and creative direction to make them feel more at ease, comfortable and supported throughout the day - (lotsa jokes and goofy energy over here) I will also help guide and organize family and wedding party portraits. But overall - my intention is for your photos and the moments captured within them, to remain earnest, organic and as real as possible. Through an uncomplicated + authentic approach, I offer couples the opportunity to stay in the present, connected with one another and able to savor their wedding day experience fully without any fuss or stress. All you two have to do is BE YOU (which is magic) - I will do the rest.

Film is simply a timeless medium that is unaffected by the shifts and changes of technology; a tangible item that can be printed over and over again without compromise or degradation and can be treasured and cherished for generations, literally. I have always photographed with film and actually was taught solely shooting + processing film before I embarked into the digital world. * (SHOUT OUT to Art Center Pasadena)* There are benefits to both film and digital photography. However, Film photography has a soft, rich, nostalgic feeling that is unmatched - with an unmistakable spontaneity + authenticity that can not be duplicated. Digital photography, on the other hand, is great for more ornate details, family portraits, and offers swift flexibility when things move quickly. Each medium has its virtues - and I am very confident and capable in BOTH which allows me to move seamlessly between the two. I offer digital packages, film only packages- featuring 120mm+35mm film, OR the 50/50package which is a hybrid approach of equal parts digital + film and has become a client favorite. But if you see images from 100 years ago that are photographed on film and notice they stand the test of time - there is a reason for that. FILM IS FOREVER.

YES! Traveling for weddings is one of the coolest parts of the job to be honest; consider me ultra stoked to venture out to your dream wedding location. Depending on the distance, I will arrive to the destination one day before the event start, in order to scout the venue, lighting and surrounding areas. I do charge a travel fee based on the location/distance of your wedding, to cover my transportation and accommodations. And while not every destination is international - just know your girl is passport ready!!
I will offer a discount for events taking place at any of these locations because - ADVENTURE:

I do offer Super 8mm film video as an additional service and I can’t recommend it enough! Ever since I have been shooting it, I am smitten! It is the chefs kiss in the way of authentic home video with an editorial spin - moments are super 8mm are incredible time capsules and true magic on a screen of any size.
That said, I also can recommend a number of any videographer teams that I adore and have worked with in the past should you want a more comprehensive video package and coverage of the day.

Just like people, every wedding is distinct and there are no two alike - so I don’t set a specific number of final images. Rather, I capture the day as it unfolds and watch your story play out when reviewing and editing your images (literally my favorite part is editing!) I am a firm believer in quality over quantity, but I also will include all the little details - don’t worry!
I CAN tell you that typically in an 8 hour wedding day my couples tend to receive anywhere between 500-750 final edited images and depending on your package, you will receive 40-200 analog film images; shot on 120mm + 35mm film.
As far as WHEN - You will receive a sneak peek within 1-3 days following your wedding, and your full gallery within 8-10 weeks following your event.

I accept checks, ACH deposit/wire transfer, venmo and credit cards (3% processing fee). Upon signing your agreement, a 50% retainer fee is due to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding.

You bet I will! I will work with you and any planning vendors (if you have any on board) to devise and customize the best timeline for photos that flows harmoniously with the day’s happenings. I will be here every step of the way during the months and weeks leading up to your wedding day, offering advice, referring vendors and just being a friendly ear as you move through your planning process. We can have as many consults, zoom calls and coffee dates as you want and together we will hash out all nitty gritty to guarantee everything is just as it should be well before your event date. I got you friend!

YES to both! Each package includes a super easy to navigate online gallery where you can download all of your images in high resolution, and web size. From the online gallery you can order prints directly, or take your hi res files to your preferred print lab to get prints made.

Sometimes a wedding needs a bit more coverage than just me. You and your partner may be getting ready in different locations, or cocktail hour is scheduled at the same time as family portraits. I will bring on my awesome associate shooter to ensure no moment, no detail, no break out dance party is missed.
